feeling strong?

I am one,
Not a half but a whole.
I will flow like water
and beam like the righteous sun,
I do not unravel or come undone.
Not a quarter or a third
or a disfigured sum.
I am fire, I am ice,

I do not speak with muted words,
The sounds that follow do become.
I brush velvet infinity
And what has not began, begun.
Enemy. My truest friend,
You look me in the eye to stare,
No greater love than hate itself
My fellow foe, oh fiend fair.

But of my better temperament,
Most fine of all the things I've done,
Is that I am not cracked or chipped,
Nor bruised not beat,
I am whole.
I am one.
