mistakes renewing myself

I stand before you once again,
with no weapons just me
I stand before you asking for forgiveness, not begging
but just asking
For the mistakes i have done have been revealed to me
For once in such a long time I have looked into the mirror
a quick glimpse
And i have saw the monster this world as turn me into
Cold and covered with anger, covered in agony
Through this reflection i see what wrongs I have done
I see the person i used to be strong and true though broken but never realized
And the person i am hurt, broken and afraid
Now im prepared to break this mirror and create a greater image
An image of hope, life and free spirit
An image i can look at and be proud
An image reflecting the pain and struggle but also
me over coming it
