Fearing Depths

Facing sadness can take it's toll.

It scares me, it really does
I do not know how this happens but it always does
The depth of this feels beyond madness
I do not know whom I angered so to merit a fate like this
This darkness is a fear no one should have to bare
This darkness which has no name
It brings rivers of red and empty shells
No good can come of this... only fear
Dark depths can do unthinkable things to the helpless
Make them not so helpless anymore
Dark depths with no light, for all should know...
Darkness creates darkness
