My Family Physician

A poem dedicated to my great primary care physician - enjoy!

A doctor so busy, yet truly commendable,
With his knowledge and insight, so indispensible. 
Consults with a warmth and compassion that's real,
Diagnoses conditions and knows just how I feel. 

A truthful demeanor, he’s always forthright,
Giving instructions and the medicines to fight,
All of those ailments he’s treating me for,
I book an appointment and he opens his door. 

With love for his patients, he’s never a snob,
So dependable and honest, and doing his job.
A fine one, at that, practicing general medicine,
Knows when I’m on target and how I have been.
