Open Hands

Open Hands = "I come in peace" the transition brought about by couple's therapy.

O ur hearts were guarded from further hurt,
P ain, betrayal, wounds cut deep.
E ntreating healing, yet,
N owhere to turn, trapped by our fears.

H earts are softened in compassion,
A s we learn to see, with
N ew eyes, the precious gifts
D elivered as an olive branch.
