a poem of love and desire |
I bid you come drink from my cup drawn from the well of my soul. Drink long and quench your thirst. Wonders can be yours to behold. Come to me and take this vessel, filled with the droplets of my tears. Your worries cease your pain will flee and it will lie to rest your fears. My heart is in each loving drop they carry my passion and my fire. Drink and dreams it will unfold. Come taste the longing and desire. We’ll drink together of this spring and our hearts will gladly soar! Like eagles from there lofty heights as one, our cares will be no more. Come to me and drink from my cup. Drink, my love, before it is too late! Lay with me ‘til the morning comes, I beg you, no longer make me wait. |
