Bringing home the proud, the few.
Hugs and kisses, tears and laughter…
Families once again made whole.
Missing: all the ones who perished,
Etched in freedom’s honor roll.
Through the years you’ve bravely left us,
First to fight and first to die.
Proud marines, God guide and keep you.
