Don't look at the sky

I won't look at the sky.
I already know today is the last.
I looked at the sky.
I wish it looked differently,
and I wish
that it moved.
So disconcerting, motionless above.
Bright comma, punctuates the heavens.
A pause in eternity, then business as usual.
