With the Rain

A Poem I just scribbled down one day.

My heart filled with regret
as the drum beat pumped
With The Rain.

My tears fell silent
as you crooned along
With The Rain.

I can't tear my eyes away
from your hypnotizing gaze
With The Rain.

The world seems to stop
as time stands still
With The Rain.

But the music keeps playing
and my heart keeps beating
With The Rain.

To say good-bye
will wash away the pain
With The Rain.

My mistake which I regret
that left me lonely
With The Rain.

I will not speak
of that night
With The Rain.

May you live to forget
that night that happened
With The Rain.
