Growing old is not a lot of fun
It occupies your heart and mind from sunrise to sun down
Growing old is not a lot of fun
It makes you think too often about your time on earth winding down.
Growing old is not much fun
When there is still so much to do and so many things to see
Growing old is not at all fun
When life is catching up with you and you are truly on the run
Growing old is not any fun
Feeling that pain in your joints each time your heart pumps
Growing old is not any fun
Knowing your days will soon be done, and the grand kids are still so very young.
No, growing old is not much fun!
