This is more of a song than a poem, mourning for lost love.

I'm surrounded by people

But without you Jini

I feel helpless and all alone

A restless energy beckons me

How can I forget

The days I spent with you

Without you, the days are long

And the nights don't end.



    I'm carrying this heavy heart

    How far can I go?

    Every single beat makes my life unlivable

      Not that I don't remember you

      There are times restlessness takes it toll

      I'm smoking, why don't you scold

      Snatch the fag and slap me once

      I know you won't come

      But I expect the same every time I smoke.



        I'm sad and lonesome

        Why don't you come and hold me

        Make me understand

        We made promises we could not keep

        I know I was wrong

        Only thing i wish is

        Remember me sometime.

     

            Sometimes I cry a drop or two

            Won't you come and wipe my tears

            I'm drinking and won't you come

            And say "enough for today"
