Another poem from awhile back, dealing with faith. |
| I desire to be what you are- the tranquility before the tempest, silencing the boisterous crickets with clouds of destructive beauty due west. Although they know a rainy death looms; they grab dewy blades of grass unafraid. Accepting themselves and each other, Together singing a sweet serenade. I'd loathe to know knowledge that you know- The swelling dread in a loaded bullet as it feels a touch on the trigger, realizing its whole life has been a threat. However it accepts its duty, enslaved to the reflexes of the trigger, barging out the barrel like a bull, and piercing flesh in a burst of vigor. Death and peace are inseparable- silently leading the march into fate. You cannot bring us peace without death; Therefore God, you love everything you create. |
