Life's Jewels

A poem about all thats around us and what God gave to us

Life's splendors, jewels
Glistening across the earth
Oh, what a sight to behold!
The mountains, the trees
the air we breathe.
Lightning's light
Thunder booming
banging war drums loud...
Drifting snow
frostbite white, never ending cold
Blistering heat
lying at desert's feet,
Ruins of old,
Where stories are told.
Lands untold,
Where history unfolds.
City streets,
Where no one sleeps.
The ocean's a potion,
which keeps life in motion.
It's all to much too comprehend!
But that's not the point,
just enjoy the joys
that God made by hand.
Enjoy this gift he gave you
this glistening golden land.
