| Carnival The time has come for lots of fun Drink and drink till your hearts content Colors and colors dance around There is nothing better than the sounds of carnival The people are singing The people are dancing All the worlds worries seem to be gone The people are drunk, and the kids are playing All seems well in the night of carnival But in the midst of the night A fool dances and drinks Not knowing of the mistake he's made The fool knows not of his fate for tonight will be his last dance. Explanation. Carnival is the nights in which I celebrate my glorious victory. I am at my most happiest time when Carnival arrives. This poem was written about two hours before I left to find Fortunato. And after quite some time drinking and dancing finding him wearing a jester outfit made me chuckle on the inside. Knowing that like my poem, this fool did not know of his terrible unwritten fate. |
