Gone

Just a random poem.

I’m going, going,
Now I’m gone.
You wish I would have stayed?
You used to say everything was my fault
But my heart is whose was played.          
I’ve done cried my tears honey,
I don’t need your shoulder now.
I’m strong enough to get through
This brokenness somehow.
You’re on your knees in front of me
Begging for me back
It’s been long enough for me to see
Just what it is you lack.
You didn’t love me until I was
Oh so far away.
I’m going, going,
Love, I’m gone.
And you wish I would have stayed.
