This is a poem I wrote for the strong military men and women, come home safe please. |
| I Will See You Again One day my body will be set free, Send myself off where I can finally breathe; I will grow wings and fly to a new destination, My new home will be in the sky without hesitation. I will watch over you with care, I will surround you like air; I will help you stay strong for everyone, Give me your burdens because I know they weigh a ton. I know this seems hard, Just know I am your permanent body guard; The tears will soon come to a cease, And you will know I am finally in peace. You are my heavenly beloved, my life, forever, I will keep you warm with love entwined, stitched like a sweater. I have checked into your heart for a permanent stay, Even though I am a world away. Never forget the lessons I taught, Never forget the battles I fought; Live your life with unique traits, I will soon meet you at Heaven’s Gates. Clayton Williams 1/23/12 |
