South Padre Island

A little slice of Paradise that I've just come across

South Padre Island

South Padre Island is the place to be.
I’ll be back here often to see,
The good times to come and the people I meet.
I love the weather and my tanned feet.

I started to write poetry again you see;
It’s because I’ve met an awesome rare beauty.
She’s inspired me to write again, my friends.
I hope it continues, but that depends.

Okay, back to the island and its beauty.
The people here are great, but a few are snooty.
I can hear the surf from morning to night.
I ride every day to the beach – what a sight!

The waves never stop, it’s perpetual motion.
The sun is usually out and you better use lotion.
I’m getting a tan or actually shades of red.
It’s not a pretty sight and that’s enough said.

This slice of paradise is just great.
I’ve made some great friends and I just can’t wait,
To see how they develop and what comes next.
I’m at peace now here and rarely vexed.
