The Chamber

My second ever poem, some good feed back from my first inspired me to write another.Thanks

THE CHAMBER.

Darkness shrouds the place I lie
Folding round me till I cry
Trying desperately to look around
Nothing there not even sound.
A door way out to make escape
Will I ever shrug this cape?
A cry out loud..."PLEASE HEAR MY SCREAM!!!"
The darkness soon drowns out that dream.
A shard of light flashing by
Glimmers of hope they quickly die.
A lonely place of deep despair
Walls I scrape but no one's there
In my mind trapped forever
will I ever break this tether?
