I just started writing down my thoughts and that's when "Taking A Handle" was created.

Taking A Handle

Looking down at the world
Here comes the rain
Here comes the tears
What a day
A fright night
Lets just get out

I'm not sure what should be done
I need a handle
A handle on my life

Sometimes
Thoughts take over
Other times
You want your life to be taken
What should I do?
I can't loose you!

Some say
Let the night fall
Some explain
Forgive the sky
Don't let regret and blame
Take over
What's rightfully yours!

Summer skies
Feel the lies
Coming about
And taking over
Just see
What really makes a life
What really gives you strength
Just don't forget
Who you really are
And what you want
For yourself
How to keep you safe

Beware
Be alive
Be thankful
See the sign
Just let it all
Sink in

Feel the silence
Pressuring you
Pressuring you to do the same
Don't give in
Don't give up
Just take a handle
A handle on your own life
