My first short poem |
| Imperfections By:Jeanette Henning Imperfections distinguish us as individuals, Making each one unique, yet we seek the perfect, failing to recognize our own weakness, without imperfections, we would exist as cardboard boxes, each one identical, without dreams in a mundane world. I am imperfect, as are you but it is these flaws that make us one, each needing the other for completion; to my imperfect eyes you are beauty. In my imperfect heart you are perfection, may I hold you forever in my imperfect arms? |
