For what we do and how we each get through There are various and different points of view

I was born a king but rule over nothing
I've never worn a crown or a diamond ring
I am just a man living in this one night stand
Trying to figure out how existence was planned

My visions been blinded so I view with my mind
To read between the lines of what we call mankind
Because people are strange and some are deranged
It started out that way and it hasn’t ever changed

We stare in fear but don’t look into the mirror
Screaming for salvation never shedding a tear
Confused by what happens on the day we die
We ask for reasons while pointing at the sky

So for what we do and how we each get through
There are various and different points of view
But most all beliefs around this world agree
A pure heart leads us towards a better destiny
