Is love just temptation because I'm very tempted everytime a chance to love comes along =/

Is Love Temptation

What are we doing pretending this will all work out
When really the air itself won't stop filling us with doubt
To begin would mean to end
To breathe in just means to exhale
Will love ever prevail
Why must we break a heart in order to mend another
Will we ever be content even with a significant other
The law of gravity applauds insanity
The higher you get the greater the fall
The bigger the mess the harder to get back up and crawl
Starting over again but this time you stall
All unfortunate events yet so crucial
Learning the hard way seems a lot more useful
How love can be so much like little children with fire
The first time they go in like nothing could go wrong
Feeling on top of the world like they can handle anything
Only to get burnt yet they try and try again
Is this love pretend
It brings so much hurt and frustration
You might as well call it just another temptation
The way it always steals your heart away
