Hurrying and scurrying,
Autumn leaves are flurrying,
Time to get in readiness,
Seasons fly away.

Hustling and bustling,
Autumn chestnuts rustling,
Telling us that time is swiftly
Passing on its way.

Blustering and flustering,
Autumn winds are mustering
Breath to strip and bend the trees,
Wood for winter's sleigh.

Heltering and skeltering,
Autumn branches sheltering,
Rains will wash away the leaves
On the path today.
