THOUGHTS ABOUT WRITING AGAIN

How long has it been since I’ve written?
I used to write everyday
But, there’s nothing new in my folder
As you know I’ve been away

It’s harder somehow to come up with
An exciting title or verse
But I guess it is better to write something
No worry if it’s better or worse.

Today is the day it started
My writing of memories and dreams
But it seems so long since I’ve written
And no one has missed me it seems

But it’s time to get back to something
That brings pleasure to me in my life
I’ll write of grandkids and children
And of being a real good wife.

So I hope you’ll enjoy reading
Some of my thoughts and dreams
And maybe next time you’ll miss me
When I think no one cares it seems
