It was Your Blood
That soaked the ground at Calvary
It was Your Blood
That took my old sinful nature from me
It was Your Blood,
Sweat and tears that You poured out in the Garden of Gethsemane
It was Your Blood
That caused my tears to fall and opened my eyes so I could see
It was Your Blood
That paid the ultimate price to set my wretched soul free
It is Your blood
That enables me to accept Your love and give it back to Thee
It is Your precious Blood
That conquers fear so I can trust, obey and believe
It is Your Blood
Sweet Jesus that will cover me for eternity.
