the serpent's point of view

just a little wisdom, word play I was toying with.

The serpent's point of view?
He preys more than you.
His face is on the ground,
ninety -nine percent of the time.


He's awake,  he's  preying.


Man is standing upright
the entire course of the day,
yet when does he pray?


He preys on subjects,
analyzes his personal desires.

Questions in his heart unanswered yet,
rarely will you find him on his face
head close to the very earth given to him.
