My Evening Prayer

I know it says you'll see me through
have faith, believe and you will prove
your love will guide me when i'm weak
compassion, gentleness, forgiveness speak

I'm in a place of no control
I'm down in spirit and low in soul
I'm looking up to find your grace
I wish to see light on my face

Sometimes I think that all the prayer
will never get me anywhere
I'm frustrated, anxious yet I know
with your love, my faith will grow

Don't let me go please hold me tight
and help me through another night
Please put me in a peaceful heart
Let a  new day bring a new start
