It's about an interesting connection between one of my teachers and me from in 6th grade

She's trying, but by trying
It's only making it harder for me.
When she catches me looking at her
She smiles.
A friendly smile.
I smile back, not as a friendly one
But a nervous one
Hiding the insecure me.
