The Hypocrite

I wrote this after being bullied one day,..

The world is full of hate
Its difference sets us apart
To make the world a better place
We’ll need a lot of heart
With just a word or look
Such pain you can inflict
The destruction is far worse
Than any words can depict
Race, color, and origin
Should not matter to us at all
But do you lend a helping hand
When one of them should fall
When a person turns to wave
You say that you’ll wave back
Then you turn your head
When you see they are black
The hypocrite in all of us
Impales us like a rod
Will we still say we are better
As we’re standing before God?
