A short poem I wrote in homeroom a while ago

The light inside the dark
The love within the hate
The life in death
The ice within the flames

The faint smile when you cry
The pleasure under the pain
When you're calm despite the panic
And when you're happy that you've died

The dream inside the nightmare
The peace among the chaos
The oasis in the desert
The paradise in the dystopia

The Heaven in the Hell
The triumph among the terror
The relief inside the tragedy
The truth in every lie

The beginning at the ending
The angel within the demon
The sanity amidst the lunacy
Your hope inside the loss
