My Letter to you

This is a letter to a friend.

Dear Friend,

We've been through so much together in a short time.
We've helped each other mend broken hearts.
I have helped you up when you were down.
You have done the same for me.
I miss our nights together.
Just sitting around talking or totally ignoring each other.
Sometimes drinking it up and drowning sorrows.
I know you don't see it but you are a rock in my life and I would be lost at sea without you.
I know I am not around right now but that will never change what you mean to me.
I will always love you no matter the distance.
