Love of a woman

I want to tell a love story of a old man I know



He said he fell in love with this special lady so many years ago



He told me that he did not believe in love at first sight



And he fought and fought and knew it was such a useless fight



He said he saw not only the beauty of her fair skin



But saw the beauty of her soul which lies within



He said they have been together for so many years



They have shared some laughter and shed a few tears



He said his love for her will never grow old



And I truly believe him for this is what he told



He said this woman truly soothed his soul



She helped him accomplished and reach his goals



I told a small lie for this man I really don't know



But it is me I speak of, my wife and I do love you so
