The pain of loneliness

So Near Yet so Far

If I yell loud enough will anyone hear
Do they look at me and quietly see my fear

My thoughts and feelings I hide quite close
Lest they see my needs and laugh and joke

I am quite but I long to speak
But my words and feelings make me meek

Why cant I be so open and close
Why do I feel and act like a ghost
