poem of encouragement for me about God, my Father |
| Father's hands are strong, gentle Father's hands are firm and kind. The breadth and width of all my needs Father's eyes shine bright, and find. Father's arms protect, enfold. Father's arms are present, safely. Narrow, hard yet worth the struggle, Father's way is through the valley. Father's heart beats, oh, so steady: Father's heart yearns for us all. Penetrating through life's din, Father's voice is still and small. His hands, and eyes and arms will lead us. His way, and heart and voice entreat us: Trust me in the loud, the quiet, Trust me to bestow respite. |
