To think it is hot

Ready to go out and play

To be stuck inside

Because it

Rained today

Its April Showers



To wake up for school

Girl put skirts on

Guys with cargo shorts

To stand on the bus stop

Holding an umbrella

To the long water boots

To soon be mad and wet

Because they got pour down on.

Its my April Showers



To be prepared

For the rain bundled all up

To look the the window

Or to walk outside

To see that it is hot.

From the different changes

Of weather

We will never know

But all we say is

Its Our April Showers



Scared to get ya hair done

Cause you don’t know

If it gonna rain

Walking around outside

With trash bags

On ya sneakers

To be at a track meet

Sitting under the bleachers

Its a good April Showers.
