TO NOT KNOW KNOWLEDGE

A prayer to be ignorant in order to be happy.

Oh Lord,
That I could be whole,
Like the fowls of the air.
That I could be satisfied,
Like all beasts under the heavens.

Lord,
What does it take
That I could purr as a kitten?
What does it take
To not know knowledge?

In their ignorance,
The beasts are more than content.
In their ignorance,
They have found loyalty.
They have found love.

Oh Lord,
Give me ignorance,
For this knowledge 
Is to heavy to bear.

Lord,
Give me ignorance,
That I may be happy.
Happy, regarding not the things of this world.

Lord,
In ignorance,
We are made strong.
In ignorance
We are made wise.
