A Poem about where I'm from, Nashville TN. |
Nashville Down by the river Where them boys play ball The streets are filled with music At anytime fate may call That’s Nashville Where everyone has a dream The smell of fame in the air From Downtown to Southside That smell’s still there That’s Nashville Where the poor are getting poorer But richer with their dream’s The slow folk talk fast The people ain’t who they seem That’s Nashville The sunlight here blazes We bask in it’s glory Sometimes we amazing Most times we a story That’s Nashville They all call us country Yes, were country and proud! We love playing music We sell out the crowd That’s Nashville Home of the Titans Home of the Brave Home to this Nashvillian Till I hit my Nashville grave I’m Nashville Written By: Joseph J.
