After a break up

The multiple marks on my body,
Signify how much you hurt me,
Each jagged line - a single day,
Every single day I tried to flee.

You locked my door,
You threw away the key.
You chained me to the fence,
You made my beg and plead.

I don't know what I did,
What I did so wrong.
I told you how I felt,
I loved you for so long.

I'd always be the one,
The only one who's there,
When times were harsh,
I showed you that I cared.

Then one mistake,
You threw it back in my face
Turned your back on me for good -
And now I have no place -
