The deadline for entries in the Tony Hillerman Short Story Contest is September 15. The 2,5000-word mystery story must be set at least in part in New Mexico. The winner, to be announced at the Tony Hillerman Writers Conference: Focus on Mystery, Nov. 10-12 in Santa Fe, receives a $1500 check and publication in New Mexico Magazine. $20 entry fee.
