Embrace the End of Humanity

A haiku about the ending of the human life and the entering of another one.

As the last breath leaves,
I say goodbye to my human life,
And welcome sweet death.

My blood drains,
Leaving me an empty shell,
Ready for the afterlife.

My life fades,
I await the next life,
Of blood and shadow.

I am drinking.
Ecstasy is what i feel,
And so my human life ends,
But I am not dead
I arise with a smile,
And with my sire,
I shake off the shackles of humanity
