I wake up.
Cold and dreary night.
Stars are shining bright.
But you aren't there.

I see your smile.
I see your face.
But in this place?
You aren't here.

Toss and turn.
Sleeping not well.
Living in hell.
Because you aren't anywhere.

Cry some more.
Wonder why.
Look into your eyes.
See you don't care.

I'm moving on.
I wanted your love.
Gain strength from above.
I'm accepting that dare.
