They lead us to doubt and fear
So at the end of the day we believe them
You're a failure
You can't do that
You're not smart enough
These are the shadows that follow us
The whisper in our ear
Fail
Can't
Don't
You are nothing, never will be anything
Worthless
Hopeless
We are only as good as we think we are
When the sun fades, the voices creep in
Don't let them, you're better than them
If we don't have hope for a better day
A better life
Better future
Then we have nothing
