A Time for Earth

Time is running out!

Time for Earth

Summer time has faded yet there's color everywhere
The sight of harmony is plane to see
Nesting birds and flowers are home to buzzing bees
But a growing shadow is troubling to me

Opulence has shrouded the best things in our life
But is the very best completely free
I must wonder what freedom really means
When coral reefs are dying in the sea

I often wonder why it's difficult to change
And break from chains of complacency
There was a time we lived in simple harmony
Like a sunrise gently dancing with the sea

We need to take some time and see what we can do
Think of all the things we had before
Healthy lakes and rivers teaming full of life
Now Mother nature's knocking at our door

Summer time has faded yet there's color everywhere
The sight of harmony is plane to see
Planet earth is not as perfect as before
But it's home and home is beautiful to me
