Because the sun is always yellow,
Because my lifestyle is too mellow,
Because of his manipulation,
Because of toxic radiation.
Once in a lifetime
Is never enough.

Excuse me when I say
That your smile isn't worth a ray
Of light.
No way I'll fight.
Give me this moment-
I'll make it my own,

Because there's no better way to live,
Because my love I'll gladly give,
Because I'm always wasting time,
Because I'll never stand in line.
When I chase windmills,
It's no fantasy.

I am always second best,
But that won't stop me in my quest
For life.
I cannot beat the strife.
Save me from madness-
It feels too close.

Because I beat the clock,
Because my life's unlocked,
Because I come up smiling,
Because I won't succumb to dying.
I'll keep resisting-
