Dreams of Flying

Vainly I search for a reason to hope
While inside my soul lies dying
Fearing the future I struggle to cope
While my soul despairs of trying
Putting on faces, pretending to smile
While inside my soul lies crying
Deeper and deeper I sink in the mire
But my soul has dreams of flying
