At 17

I went off the rails and lost it...

I am not a person who has done nothing wrong,
Like many people I regret things I did when I was young.
I lost a few friends along the way,
And even though it's in the past,
What I did will always stay.

I cannot say sorry and I can't say why,
I don't think I knew what I was doing but it's enough to make me cry,
I should have stopped,
And open my eyes,
But knew in my heart I couldn't be ruined.
