I pray you can hear me even though your inside my womb

its very dark inside and I wonder sometimes

just us two I'm almost due so if your ready to come out into the world

boy or girl I will be waiting for you

months I've carried you in my stomach now I get to hold you in my arms

I get emotional just thinking about it

looking into my own eyes teaching you and preparing you for life's trails and tribulations

as the contractions and pain increase my water breaks

push! push! push! I hear its first cry
