The Last Goodbye

My grandmother meant the world to me and sometimes wished I had more time

Even tho you have been gone
for all these years,
that certain song or photograph
still brings me to tears.

I wished I could have more time
before you had to go,
but you have endured enough suffering
God had to release your soul.

I guess I wished I was there sooner
to be by your side,
to tell you how much I will always love
you and to give you the last goodbye.
