this is to my doughter that her mom doesnt let me see and tells lies about me

i went down to get a ciggerret

that was something i regret

there were videos of you playing on the computer

and that rememinded me again about my feture

when i tried so hard to be your father

and she made me look like a monster

when all i tried to do was give her all she wanted

so Elaina my little girl

always remember that you are my world

i woulda been there for everything

but ur mom just had this thing

that eats away at her while she sleeps

cause into her dream it creeps

so she tries to punish me cause i found out

that what was going on wasnt just a drought

so i write this to you in hopes one day ull read it

that it wasnt me that wanted to beat it

and i hope i left enough of a mark

so you dont grow up just like that shark
