My First stab at poetry Hope you like it

My Dragon Heart

He filled my heart with light and heat
With pain infused each throbbing beat.
Of love requited 
Never spurned

Unconsummated

In blue-white fire a dark embrace
A parting  made I could not face
Of life alone
Not disapproved

Unfulfilled

Now the futures darkness spilled
Senses numbed, soul unfilled
Our bond no more
But not rejected

Unrealised

My Dragon King You have my heart
This Mortal shell shall now depart
You will find a lover new
To ride upon your mighty thew

Like me she too will death embrace
You find another in her place
Oh! mighty denizen of the skies
How I regret I heard your lies.
